Temporary Part-Time Nanny Required in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Happy Nest is seeking an experienced, kind, and caring nanny for a temporary position covering from Monday, 17th March to Friday, 21st March 2025, while the family’s regular nanny is on holiday.

About the Role:
You will be caring for a lovely baby who will be nearly 5 months old at the time. Born premature, the little one requires a nanny with extensive experience working with young babies, providing nurturing care, and following their established routine. The family also has a small dog, so a pet-friendly attitude is essential.

Hours:

Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
Nanny Duties:

Providing attentive care and supervision to meet the baby’s developmental and physical needs.
Feeding, including preparing bottles and supporting feeding routines.
Maintaining the baby’s nap schedule.
Engaging in age-appropriate stimulation activities to encourage development.
Handling nursery-related duties, such as baby laundry and tidying up after feeds and playtime.
Ensuring a clean and safe environment for the baby.
Essential Requirements:

Extensive experience working with young babies, particularly those born prematurely.
Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check on the update service.
Full 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate dated within the last three years.
Excellent, checkable references.
A recognised childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.

Salary: £16.00 gross per hour
