A fantastic opportunity for a Live in OR Live out Nanny with a lovely, flexible and warm family in SE London! Sole charge of a 2 year old! The family are looking for someone long term!

Job Summary:
Eden is working with a friendly, relaxed but busy family looking for a caring, energetic, and nurturing Nanny to join them in looking after their delightful 2 year old boy. He’s a sweet, good-natured little one with lots of energy, and they need someone who can keep up with his fun, active routine and provide a safe and stimulating environment. Mum and dad both work busy jobs so this will be a sole charge position.
The ideal nanny will be confident, proactive and show initiative with finding activities for their little boy – mum and dad try to create a comfortable and happy environment for the nanny and always welcome suggestions or advice. Mum and dad are both very hands on and try to do bath and bed time, they both also work from home 1 or 2 days per week and will sometimes want to interact with child during the day – the nanny needs to be comfortable with that.

Days, hours and salary:
• Live in – Monday to Friday - 7am to 7pm - £38,000 to £42,000 gross per annum
• Live out – Monday to Friday – 8am to 6pm - £54,600 to £56,552 gross per annum

Job specification:
• General wellbeing of the child
• Preparing meals for the child – has dairy intolerance – planning meals and batch cooking
• Putting down for naps
• Take to activities/classes
• Take outdoors to parks/playground
• Nursery duties
• Changing the childs bedding
• Help to hit their milestones
• Keeping in good routines – very important
• Arts and crafts


Candidate specification:
• Experience within a similar role with babies and toddlers
• Experience with multiple children and supporting with babies – family may have another child in the future
• Confident and shows initiative with planning activities
• Confident and enjoys cooking
• Work well as a team with mum and dad – communication is key
• Give advice and suggestions
• Someone who genuinely loves children and really engages with them
• Pet friendly – family have 2 cats
• Driver would be a bonus but not essential



Accommodation: Two options – large room with use of shared family bathroom OR room with ensuite

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
