Ref: 1841, Full-time French-speaking nanny – Kensington, W14

A warm and dynamic Canadian family based in Kensington (W14) is looking for a French-speaking nanny to care for their two sons: a baby boy (6 months at start) and his older brother (3.5 years old).

This is a live-out full-time position, with a long-term perspective in a household where the mother speaks French to the children and the father speaks English.

Start date: Mid-June 2025 (some flexibility before or after)

Location: Kensington, London W14

Schedule: Monday to Thursday – 40 hours/week to begin with, increasing to Monday to Friday 50 hours/week from September when the mother returns to work

Salary: £16 net/hour (i.e. £640/week for 40h, £800/week for 50h) around £57 000K per year

Responsibilities
Caring for the baby and older brother (including weaning, nappy changes, stimulating activities)

Planning age-appropriate outings and activities

Nursery/school drop-off and pick-up

Cooking for the children (batch cooking appreciated so parents can enjoy leftovers)

Tidying play areas and handling children’s laundry

Working collaboratively with the family’s housekeeper

The ideal candidate
Native or fluent French speaker

Strong experience with babies and toddlers

Confident in weaning and developmental stages

Energetic, trustworthy, positive and engaging

Looking for a long-term role with a warm family

Extras
Travel required (approximately 2–3 times per year)
