Temporary Daily or Live In Nanny - London/Oxfordshire - 09/12/2024 - End of January 2025

This lovely family are looking for an experienced, professional, gentle and caring nanny, to care for their two young children - boy aged 3 and girl aged 1.

Overview:
This position involves a combination of sole and shared charge, with the nanny responsible for standard nursery duties, including cooking for the children.

The little boy attends nursery 3-4 mornings per week, and the family encourages participation in additional groups or classes for the children.

Working hours are typically 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required based on the parents’ schedules in the mornings and evenings. Over the Christmas period, the nanny will not be required to work on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or Boxing Day.

The family is currently based in London but frequently spends weekends and school holidays in Oxfordshire. In London, accommodation consists of a basement apartment with a separate entrance. In Oxfordshire, there is a separate annex available for the nanny's use.

At the end of December to the beginning of January, the family will travel to Switzerland and would like the nanny to accompany them. While travelling, the nanny will need to provide babysitting and weekend support.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of and experience with children of a similar age. Both children are happy, healthy, and follow established routines.

The family is seeking a nanny who adopts an empathetic, child-led approach to childcare, is energetic and active, and enjoys spending time in nature and the outdoors. A love of food is also highly desirable, as the family values the children's enjoyment of meals and good nutrition.

A progressive outlook on childcare and a willingness to work collaboratively with the family as part of a team is essential.

The family have a dog.
